Photographer Wayne Rainey was called to duty to get some shots of John Kerry after the presidential debates on October 13, 2004. After some interviews, a background check, questionnaire, layers of security, and a stimulating visit with the Secret Service, Wayne was able to meet the man, his familly, and his aides, and chat with them in between the debate and the rally.
Of course there were no cameras allowed during this bit of down-time. For security purposes, you understand. And when the time came to actually shoot the event, the cameras were placed - well, kind of far-away.
Anyway, he did get a couple of cool crowd shots...
